Week 1: CEO

Welcome to Week One: CEO

This week is all about two things:

1) Your Identity
2) Your Habits

In this week's lessons, you'll be upgrading your identity to be the CEO of your business.

Before we can change anything in your business, we first need to change WHO it is that’s running the business and HOW that person runs your business.

At the end of this week, you will have clarity around the roles in your business (who is responsible for what) and you’ll have a time management system created that you will use for the duration of this program (and hopefully much longer).

WEEK ONE HOMEWORK:

Create a Weekly Work Schedule

Feel free to complete your homework this week in whatever fashion works best for you.

You can print out the Weekly Homework Guide documents in your Thrive Workbook and write on these pages directly, use a journal or notebook, or type in a separate document.

When you’re ready to turn in your homework at the end of the week, simply submit a photo of your homework or upload a document to the homework link in the overview module.

Week 2: Vision

Welcome to Week Two: Vision

This week is all about two things:

1) Your Brand
2) Your Vision

Now that you have upgraded your identity to CEO, every CEO needs a clear vision of where they are going with their business.

At the end of this week, you will have clarity around who you are as a brand, where you're going with your long term vision, and how you're going to get there with short term goals.

WEEK TWO HOMEWORK:

Complete the Vision Tracker

The Vision Tracker you're going to fill out is located in the Key Documents section of the Thrive workbook.

Part One of the Vision Tracker is all about getting clear on your brand.

Part Two of the Vision Tracker is about establishing a future vision for your business and setting goals to help you achieve that vision. This Vision Tracker will serve as a compass to keep you on track toward building a business you love!

To help you fill out the brand portion of the Vision Tracker, use the exercises in the Week Two Homework Guide to discover who your dream clients are.

Week 3: Data

Welcome to Week Three: Data

This week is about how to track key measurables in your business.

Now that you've upgraded your identity to CEO, are implementing habits to show up like one, have a clear vision for your brand, plus a clear vision for your future moving forward, let's get clear on your current reality using concrete numbers.

In other words, its time ditch our old habits of making decisions in our business with gut feelings and fuzzy data.

This week, you are going to get clear on the five key metrics in your business that will help you achieve your financial goals.

WEEK THREE HOMEWORK:

Set Up Your Scorecard

This week’s homework is that you will set up and complete the Scorecard we’ve created for you so you can begin to use it on a weekly basis moving forward.

(The Scorecard is a Google spreadsheet and this will be the only thing you will turn in as your homework.)

You'll find the link to the Scorecard here in the Week Three Module of your portal as well as in your Thrive Workbook on page 38.

The video lessons as well as your workbook will outline how to setup the Scorecard for the first time and then also use it on an ongoing basis.

IMPORTANT: Watch ALL of the video lessons before starting to complete the Scorecard.

(If you don't, you might have to go back and redo your work.)

Week 4: Profit

Welcome to Week Four : Profit

This week is all about making the money you want to make to support the life you want to live.

At this point, you’ve created a powerful vision for yourself, set some amazing goals, and gotten clear on your numbers to get a very realistic picture of how your business is actually performing.

This week we are focusing on your profit, because I want you to pay far less attention to how much you’re charging, and far more attention to how much you’re actually making.

You're going to take a really critical, objective, CEO look at your pricing to make sure it’s profitable and actually getting you closer to your goals, instead of steering you off track.

WEEK FOUR HOMEWORK:

Refine & Update Your Pricing

Your homework is to update, refine, or (if needed) completely overhaul your pricing to get it in line with your revenue and your income goals.

Use these lessons plus the homework guide in your Thrive Workbook to update your pricing, and you can do the work anywhere that makes sense to you (spreadsheet, Google doc, etc).

To turn in your homework, simply take a photo or screenshot, or upload your pricing documents to the homework links. Make sure to note what your expense and profit percentages are so I can see them!

Week 5: Growth

Welcome to Week Five : Growth

There are no solopreneurs in business.

Everyone has a support team, even if your team is only outsourcing partners.

This week is about leveraging those partners to help you build the business you see in your future, and moving past the fear of investing in and adding people to your team if it will get you closer to your vision and closer to building a sustainable business.

The gift of this week is that you get to plan ahead and be proactive and intentional about creating your business and your support team in the way you’d like to create it.

WEEK FOUR HOMEWORK:

Complete Your Org Chart

This week’s homework is to complete the Org Chat in the Key Documents section of the Thrive Workbook.

This is the only thing you'll turn in as your homework, and depending on your five-year vision, it may be simple to fill out or it may take some time.

Week 6: Client Experience

Welcome to Week Six : Client Experience

This week is about how to create a remarkable client experience, and how to support it with workflows and systems.

The goal for this week is to gain clarity around your processes: HOW you do things, WHO does it, and WHEN they do it.

You’ve upgraded your identity to CEO, you’ve created a vision for the business you want to build in the next five years, and you’re ready to create an efficient business that could scale if you wanted.

Now let’s put workflows in place to support that business and that growth.

WEEK SIX HOMEWORK:

Create a Refined Wedding Workflow

This week’s homework is that you will create a refined and simple Wedding Workflow using the parameters outlined in the lessons.

This Wedding Workflow will be the only thing you will turn in as your homework and, just like your time management system, you can turn it in however you’d like.

The questions in the Weekly Homework Guide in the Thrive Workbook are simply meant to support you in creating this final workflow and you do not need to turn in your answers.

Week 7: Marketing

Welcome to Week Seven : Marketing

This week is not about deep diving into individual tactics or social media channels.

This week is all about strategy - about creating a rhyme & a reason for your marketing.

You are going to create a plan for your marketing, which means you are going to be picking the individual tactics that will go on the plan, and executing on that plan for the next six months.

WEEK SEVEN HOMEWORK:

Create a Marketing Action Plan

Your homework this week is to create a Marketing Action Plan which includes a Social Media Calendar that will plan out the next two months of your social media marketing.

You will be using the Marketing Action Plan and the Marketing Checklist in the Key Document section of your Thrive Workbook to complete your homework for this week.

Enjoy the process of gaining clarity over your marketing!

Congratulations! You’ve completed an incredible amount of work over the past two months, and you should be proud of all that you’ve accomplished!

Now that the program is coming to a close, it’s vital to understand what your CEO Rhythm looks like from this point forward.

After today, you will be operating in your Quarterly Rhythm with Weekly CEO Check-Ins, Quarterly Meetings, and a yearly Annual Retreat.

This rhythm, along with the tools you’ve been given and the habits you’ve adopted, will carry your business toward your Five-Year Vision, and wherever else you decide to go!

WEEK EIGHT HOMEWORK:

Complete the Week 8 Homework Guide (Thrive Workbook)

This week, you’re homework is to complete the simple action items outlined in the Week 8 Homework Guide in your Thrive Workbook and to answer one very important question:

What are you committed to as a result of this course?

Enjoy completing your FINAL homework of TBI!!
